THE PROJECT

○ Topography is favorable to a low-cost bulk-tannoge open pit mine

○ No overburden at all, The ore is outcroping

○ The ore is hydrothermally altered and weathered over 100m depth. No blasting is required

○ There is no environmental issues in the site: the concession is 100% covered by a planted eucalyptus forest

○ The studies for obtaining the environmental licenses are ongoing

INFRASCTRUCTURE

Infrastructure adds significant value to the project: power energy, first class roads, railroad to Santos port. The project is located in the vicinities of Poços de Caldas city, a pleasant place to live, plenty of facilities.

○ 22km to Campinas and the Viracopos international airport;

○ 180km to São Paulo, the biggest Brazilian city, through 1st class paved road;

○ 340km from Santos port, the biggest Brazilian port

○ Railroad from Poços de Caldas to the Santos port;

○ High tenson power energy available in the site;

○ Friendly mining environment. A number of mines (bauxite, clay and uranium mine now depleted) surround the property;

Director – Mining Engineer

A successful career as executive of a number of major companies like VALE, TVX, CSN, Ferrous, Superintendent of Serra dos Carajas Mining Complex (VALE, 1981-1992); Executive Vice-President (VALE, 1997-2000); CEO – President (Ferrous, 2009- 2012)
