Infrastructure

Infrastructure adds significant value to the project: power energy, first class roads, railroad to Santos port. The project is located in the vicinities of Poços de Caldas city, a pleasant place to live, plenty of facilities

  • High tension power energy available;
  • Friendly mining environment. A number of mines (bauxite, clay and a uranium mine now depleted) surround the property;
  • No environmental issues. The property is covered by a planted Eucalyptus forest.
  • Topography is favorable to a low-cost bulk-tonnage open pit mine.
  • The “ore” is hydrothermally altered and weathered over 100m depth . No blasting is required.

“Wedow Jr (USGS, 1967): “The bulk of this material should be highly amenable to large scale open-pit development because of its near-surface occurrence and its highly decomposed, lateritic condition.”
